This intimate portrayal unveils the multifaceted persona of the iconic actor, delving into his remarkable career spanning decades across stage, screen, and beyond. Lighthouse International Film Society screens this film on Friday, March 29th at the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Science. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Richard will share his stories of a 40-year career in Hollywood, covering all topics, from acting to civic engagement, courage and seeking understanding. The night includes a screening of "Jaws".

State Theatre New Jersey presents 2024 Free Summer Movies Series

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey will offer screenings of five films in their Free Summer Movies Series for 2024. The series begins on July 9th with a screening of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The series follows with Elemental, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken, and closes out on August 6th with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

The Newton Theatre presents a Screening of "Trolls: Band Together" to Benefit Autism New Jersey

(NEWTON, NJ) -- Bring the whole family for a sensory-friendly movie matinee at The Newton Theatre on Sunday, April 21st featuring the hit favorite Trolls - Band Together. The special event is in support of World Autism Awareness Month and proceeds will benefit Autism New Jersey. Doors are at 2:00pm, showtime is 3:00pm.

Garden State Film Festival Redefines Accessibility with Innovative Programs

New Jersey Announces New Cohort of Film Ready Communities

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission (NJMPTVC), part of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), announced on March 13, 2024 that 14 municipalities and four counties have completed the Film Ready New Jersey Program and are now designated as Film Ready Communities. The multi-step training and certification process prepares communities to accommodate movie and television producers and effectively market themselves as film destinations.

2024 New Jersey International Film Festival to Take Place May 31st to June 9th

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The Rutgers Film Co-op/New Jersey Media Arts Center, in association with the Rutgers University Program in Cinema Studies, presents the 2024 New Jersey International Film Festival which marks their 29th Anniversary. The NJIFF will be taking place on the Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between May 31 - June 9, 2024 and will be a hybrid one as they will be presenting it online as well as doing in-person screenings at Rutgers University.

Manalapan Filmmaker's "Why I Had to Kill You While You Slept" to Screen at Garden State Film Festival

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) takes place March 21-24 in Asbury Park and Cranford. Among the 200 films being screened are feature length and short films, documentaries, comedies, children's, thrillers, pilots, student films and "Home-Grown”" films shot in New Jersey. One such film is Why I Had To Kill You While You Slept, which was written, directed and edited by Manalapan resident, Anthony Marinelli, will screen on Saturday, March 23rd at 2:30pm at Asbury Hall in the Asbury Hotel, block TA10.
